Would select zero stars if I could. If you are thinking of handing any money over to So Resi please take my advice and look elsewhere. Some good staff members but a really poor and dismissive experience overall. Have not had a call back since 2020. We are stuck in a 1 bedroom flat with 4 of us and because of a cladding issue, are not 'allowed' to sell this flat. We are stuck with no solution and dismissive conversations never following up or calling us back. I have called over 50 times since 2020 (to today) and beverly ever have had a call back. This is a very serious situation and if we were council, would have been moved as a safeguarding issue but as we are private, get treated differently. Nobody takes ownership of our issues and often feel as if they are seeing us as a 'pain' or a 'pester'. We are stuck. We have both become sick from this and have missed many days of work trying to get this sorted and nothing prevails. Everytime I call I need to tell the entire story again, starting from the sale of this flat in 2019 that fell through due to the pandemic then losing our 2nd buyer as there is cladding on my flat. They have appx 100k of my money and have said that they will categorically not take the flat back and give us our money so we can get a mortgage on a house to fit my growing family. We had 2 mortgages on 2 houses and lost both and 2 years later, are still trapped in this 1 bedroom flat. Other that going to the ombudsman and the newspapers I am not sure what to do next. This is almost killing me and I can guarantee that I will get a generic 'sorry' email here to make sure that the public see that they are responsive and shocked that this has happened. Its extremely tiring. If someone with some status in So Resi reads this, please call me urgently so we can get this sorted and my children, partner and me moved in to a house with a garden that actually accommodates 4 of us, not a 1 bedroom flat. It is appalling. So please do not even think about giving a penny of your money to this company, I guarantee that will be the biggest mistake and investment of you cash you will ever make. Take my word.
